The
No Water Wasted
Project
Pakistan is in the top 15 for nations that are ranked at “extremely high water-risk,” a problem experiencing pressure from multiple fronts as the population rockets, urbanization expands, and economic tension increases. 70% of people in Pakistan can’t access safe drinking water. The agriculture industry is a key culprit, consuming 98% of the total freshwater supply.
My name is Alara, and along with a team of five incredible local Punjabi Environmentalists, I launched the NoWaterWasted Project in 2022 after a family trip to the region, where I learned in-depth about the critical state of this issue.

Through a negotiation with Kartar Agro Industries, The NoWaterWasted Project has so far equipped 27 family-ran farms with 2,000 gallon capacity rainwater collection and filtration cubes, decreasing agriculture expenditure from the water system in each farm by 20%! Read more about the impact here.
